This policy describes how the Epoch SRA add-in for Microsoft Excel (“Epoch SRA”, “the add-in”, “we”) handles your information. It is separate from the End-User License Agreement.

Your data stays with you. It never leaves your workbook.

Your schedule, your risk register, and your results are processed inside Excel and stored in your own workbook. They are never uploaded and never seen by us. No tracking, no collection, no copies anywhere else.

  • No account. Nothing to sign up for, no profile, no sign-in.
  • No cookies. Epoch SRA sets none.
  • No analytics in the add-in. We cannot see what you compute, how often, or on what.

What the add-in does with your data

Epoch SRA reads the schedule and risk-register tables in your open workbook, runs its scheduling and Monte Carlo analysis locally, and writes results back to add-in-owned sheets (named with an ESRA_ prefix) in the same workbook. All of this happens on your device, inside Excel.

License activation

Activating a license key registers it once against your purchased seats: a record of the key id, a random install identifier generated by the add-in, the machine label you optionally supply, and the date. Nothing else. Nothing about your machine, your files, or your work is part of it. This record exists so a key’s purchased seat count can be honoured, and it is the only record we hold.

Epoch SRA runs inside Microsoft Office, which loads the standard Office JavaScript runtime from Microsoft’s content delivery network; that request is made by Office, not by Epoch SRA, and carries no Epoch SRA data. Your use of Excel is governed by Microsoft’s own terms and privacy statement.

Third parties

We share nothing with anyone. There is nothing to share.

Data retention and deletion

We hold only the activation record described above; email contact@epochsra.com to have it deleted. Removing the analysis from a workbook is entirely in your control: delete the ESRA_ sheets, or uninstall the add-in.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version at this address.
